We survived (at least I did)!

We made it through our first 1/2 week of school. I don't usually take naps, but I've taken a nap on Sat and Sun. I think getting back into a routine and trying to herd cats keep kinders in line the first few days is exhausting! But, I wouldn't trade it for anything. I love my new crop of kinder kats, and I know it is going to be a fantastic year!!

New "theme" with new pictures of my classroom! Almost ready for kiddos!!

I'm so excited about my classroom's new theme. I'm SO lucky that I was able to snag a lot of our Vacation Bible School's decor to use in my classroom! I LOVE how my reading center turned out! Just need to add a few pillows to my clam shell....and VIOLA!!

New class...new year...new pics coming soon

I'm counting down the days until the 1st day of school already. I (along with many other teachers) have been busy at work in our classrooms cleaning and preparing for the new year. I've changed my theme this year from camping to ocean. I was hesitant to change my theme because I LOVED my camping stuff, however, it was time for a change. And, I had spent a LOT of time and money creating ocean themed decor for our church's VBS...and wanted to get a lot more miles out of my decor. I will post my before and after pics in a few days. I am very anxious this week cause we will be getting our class list. I can't wait to see and meet my kinderkats!! Only one full week left after this one until teachers go back. YIKES! It is crunch time! I'll try to get updated pics up by next week!!
