Here are a few January crafts ideas to do with the kids
The snowman above was crafted from ripping sheets of paper and gluing them to the page. To make it kinder friendly, the kids draw an arc on their paper using a white crayon from top corner down to the bottom middle of page. Then, the kids glue ripped paper to the arc first before filling in his face.
The snowman above is a crayon resist project. Use white crayon for body and paint for his features and acceccsories.
Puffy shaving cream/glue snowman. For paint, use 1 part shave cream and 1 part glue. Mix and paint. Allow project to dry before adding accessories.
Paper plate snowman with bunny poem
Cute melted snowman
Penguin foot project. The kids trace their foot or shoe on black paper, cut it out, then glue to blue paper. I let the kids paint belly and snow using q-tips and I also draw an oval on each belly to help guide them where the paint needs to go. Just add wings, beak, and eyes to complete the project. I've also used round white stickers used for reinforcing hole punched paper for eyes. This is one of my favorite Winter crafts.
