Valentine's Day

We LOVE Valentine's Day! For our Valentine's Day family project, we send home a letter asking that the kids make a box for their Valentine's Day cards. If you decide to do a similar project, be sure the letter states that there needs an opening to put cards inside, BUT there also needs to be a way to get the treats out without tearing the box apart. We've had some very creative boxes, and here are a few I'd like to share.

Here is the letter I send home to parents recruiting them to help make a Valentine's Day box at home as a FAMILY PROJECT! Click on the image of the letter below, and it will direct you to the FREEBIE letter!

Here are a few Valentine crafts we make:

For the heart rabbit, We read "Guess How Much I Love You," then we assemble a rabbit made from hearts.

I took each students picture like they were blowing kisses "hearts" into the air. I printed them out and glued them to a "Hugs & Kisses" card that I made. Now, looking back, I should've written out "hugs & kisses" once and made copies onto cardstock INSTEAD of writing it out on all of their cards individually..lol! Lesson learned for next year!

LOVE how our "LOVE" signs turned out. To make these, I di cut the letters from plastic, taped to write paper, and let the kids go to town dabbing paint over the entire page. Once dry, I removed the letters to reveal the "LOVE" like the image in the upper left! So cute!!

Love these finger painted hearts! My sons kindergarten teacher did these (Mrs. Harris), and I had to share! So pretty and each one is very individualized! LOVE these!
